As a communication scholar, I investigate issues related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. My current research examines identity development and negotiation within immigrant families as well as in public contexts. Through this work, I explore how individuals navigate cultural identities, family relationships, and broader social environments.

I am passionate about making social science and humanities research accessible to the public through Art based research (ABR), especially to the communities that can benefit most from it. I believe that research should extend beyond academic audiences and contribute to meaningful conversations and informed decision-making in everyday life. This commitment has led me to embrace the principles of accessible science communication.

I also enjoy bridging the gap between communication theory and practice by translating complex theoretical concepts into insights that are relevant and applicable to real-world issues. My goal is to connect scholarly research with practical implications, making academic knowledge both understandable and impactful for diverse audiences.
